


Luther College Interim President David Tiede has appointed 1975 Luther graduate Connie Plaehn to the school's Board of Regents.
Since earning certification as a public accountant in 1976, Plaehn worked for a number of major financial institutions, including Conti Financial in Chicago and Akroyd & Smithers in London. Most notable is her long-term employment with J.P. Morgan, where she held high-profile positions: vice president of J.P. Morgan Securities, vice president of J.P. Morgan Investment Management and managing director of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Plaehn holds a bachelor's degree from Luther in business with an accounting emphasis and the Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University.
