Head on crash on Water Street leads to traffic charge against a Decorah man

A Decorah man has been ticketed for crossing the center line following a two-car, head-on crash on Water Street around 3:00 Friday afternoon.

Police say 51-year-old Ronald Heins of Decorah crossed over the center line and struck a car being driven by 24-year-old Jason Norby of Mabel.

Neither driver was injured in the accident, but the crash caused a total of $10,000 in damages.
