Open House date set for public to visit elementary school facilities

The Decorah Community School Board has set Thursday, May 29, 5:00 -7:00 p.m., as a date for the public to visit John Cline and West Side schools.

The open house is an event aimed at educating the public about the state of elementary facilities in the context of recommendations from the Shareholders group regarding options to address the elementary school needs in the district.

Representatives from the Shareholders, the School Board, and school administration will be present to answer questions and provide written information about the buildings and options for the future. There will be another open house at a later date.
