Calmar teenager ticketed following Highway 52 accident Sunday

17-year-old Kelly Minear of Calmar was ticketed for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign late Sunday afternoon when she pulled out from Pulpit Road Road onto Highway 52, into the path of a car driven by 71-year-old John Wiedeman of Cresco.

The crash did $7,000 in damages to the two cars. The accident occurred at 5:21 Sunday afternoon.
