Traffic accident causes $4,000 in damages

Decorah Police say a rear-end collision on Montgomery Street Friday evening caused $4,000 in damages.

Police say 22-year-old Brittany Treangen of Ossian struck the rear of a car owned by 47-year-old Robert Mincks of Decorah that was sitting at the Highway 9 stop light, waiting for a green light.

Neither driver was injured. Treangen was not ticketed.
