Books now available for April's history book club

The Decorah Public Library now has copies available of Timothy Egan's The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the American Dust Bowl.   The History Book Club will discuss the book at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17th on the 2nd floor of the library. The book describes the dust storms during the Depression, following a dozen families and their communities as they try to carry on through blinding black dust blizzards, crop failure, and the death of loved ones.
