


Wednesday, March 26th, is the deadline for Winneshiek County government candidates to file nomination papers. So far, just two people have--First District Supervisor Dennis Karlsbroten and Second District Supervisor Floyd Ashbacher.
Three other offices will be up for election on Tuesday, November 4th--County Treasurer, County Recorder and County Attorney. The County Treasurer, County Recorder, County Attorney and both County Supervisors will be elected to four-year terms.
Winneshiek County Treasurer Wayne Walter, County Recorder Teresa Bockman and County Attorney Andy Van Der Maaten have all said they intend to seek re-election.
