Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a house in Frankville Friday afternoon after receiving a 9-1-1 call reporting that a roof had collapsed.
The Sheriff's Department says that although a father and daughter were pinned underneath the roof, the father was able to free himself and his daughter before rescuers arrived.
The three-year-old daughter was taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Frankville Fire Department, Frankville First Responders, Iowa D.O.T. Enforcement and the Winneshiek County Ambulance.
