Two-car accident causes $10,000 in damages

A Decorah woman has been ticketed for failure to obey a stop sign after an accident Saturday morning at Main Street and Mechanic Street in Decorah.

Police say 26-year-old Malory Pettengill of Decorah pulled out from Main Street into the path of a truck driven by 29-year-old Brandon Stille of Decorah.

Neither driver was injured. A witness verified that Pettengill was at fault in the accident.
