The Ossian Ambulance Service will receive a check for $2,500 on Monday from the "America's Farmers Grow Communities" program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund.

Winneshiek County farmer James Elsbernd had his name drawn as a winner of the contest and selected the Ossian Ambulance Service to receive the $2,500 donation.

A presentation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Ossian Ambulance Service office at 106 N Lydia Street in Ossian.

"America's Farmers Grow Communities," sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, is part of the "America's Farmers initiative," which highlights the important contributions farmers make every day to our society.
