A Scott County judge in Davenport has finished hearing two days of testimony in a lawsuit brought by five long-time Girl Scout volunteers against the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
The five women are asking Judge Marlita Greve to rule that members of the Girl Scout organization should have a say in any future decisions about the fate of four Girl Scout camps, including Camp Tahigwa.
The judge adjourned the court proceedings without issuing any ruling, taking the matter under advisement.
