


The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and Decorah Police Department 0n Friday conducted a second search of the house at 2474 Dogwood Road as part of their investigation into an alleged meth lab.
After serving a search warrant and conducting a search, police say they found evidence of a meth lab operation.
51-year-old Amy Downing of Decorah was arrested on three criminal charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a Class C felony; Possession of Pseudoephedrine, a Drug Precursor, a Class D felony; and Possession of Lithium, a Drug Precursor, a Class D felony.
On Thursday, December 12th, police raided the house at 2474 Dogwood Road for the first time and said they found evidence of a previous meth lab operation. At that time they charged Downing and 53-year-old Richard Asegan, Junior of Decorah with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine (a Class B felony); Possession of a Drug Precursour Pseudoephedrine (a Class D felony) and Possession of a Drug Precursor Lithium (a Class D felony).
