Fire Department responds to call

Wednesday afternoon the Decorah Fire Department was called to the home of Jim & Tracey Sutton at 1167 Ferris Mill Road for a possible fire in a building. 

When firefighters arrived, they learned a fire had started but was controlled by the owners.  The fire appeared to have started in the area of a chimney pipe from in the attic of a shed.  The owners were in the shed at the time the fire was discovered and quickly controlled the fire. 

A damage amount is not available at this time.  DFD was assisted by the Winneshiek Co Sheriff's Department.
