


Decorah Middle School students in SarahNowack's prime time class have sent off a package to Afghanistan.
The students brought and wrote on over 100holiday cards for soldiers through a Red Cross program.The messages written were very heart warmingand sincere.
The students also assembledand sent two large care packages to a group of eight soldiers currently inAfghanistan.
The soldiers wrote back a letter addressed to the "Most Awesome 5th Grade Class Ever." They said the packages "put a big smile on some people's faces when we got )them)." The soldiers also sent back pictures of their surroundings in Afghanistan.
