


Two Decorah 18-year-olds were injured early Sunday morning when the car they were in left the road and hit a tree.
18-year-old Miranda Schnitzler was driving north on 253rd Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Sunday when she lost control of her car. The car entered a ditch and hit a tree. Schnitzler and a passenger in her car, 18-year-old Kelsey Hovden of Decorah, were taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center. Miranda was treated for injuries and later released. Kelsey has been transferred to another hospital.
