For nine Decorah residents, the flooding in Colorado is more than just a news story on the television.
Jim & Jane Eckblad, Dave & Joy Roslien, Phil & Ruth Reitan, John & Karen Tjostem and Joan Rulon are staying in Estes Park. Numerous roads were closed in Estes Park, particularly those near the Big Thompson River. The town had issued a disaster declaration.
The nine Decorah residents are unharmed, but wondering when they will be able to return to Decorah.
