Winneshiek Medical Center's Dr. Tyler Menke is sporting a new look these days.
Dr. Tyler works at the WMC Clinic with Lime Springs resident Tina Rahlf. Tina's daughter, 13-year-old Madison Rahlf, was diagnosed in July with Acute Lymphcytic Leukemia.
A variety of fundraising events have been held in Lime Springs and Cresco on behalf of the family. When Dr. Menke heard about the fundraisers, he volunteered to cut off his hair if workers at WMC would donate $500. They donated $750 instead.
So recently Dr. Menke handed over a pair of scissors to Madison and Tina--and looked a lot different afterwards.
"I'm an easy target," he tells decorahnews.com about the fundraising drive.
