Semi/pedestrian accident sends pedestrian to the hospital

A pedestrian was struck by a semi on Water Street shortly before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Details of the accident have not yet been released by authorities.  However, on-scene information and bystander reports say a woman was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center following the accident.
