Sheriff's Department is investigating break-in at Silver Springs Golf Course

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a break-in at Silver Springs Golf Course just outside of Ossian late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Someone broke into the clubhouse through a back door.  The cash register was broken into and a safe containing a large amount of cash was stolen.  A golf cart was also taken, but it was found in Ossian a short time later.

The case remains under investigation.
