Two vehicle accident causes $4,000 in damages

Decorah Police were called to a two vehicle accident on Highway 9 near the CountryInn at noon on Wednesday.

Police say 66-year-old Kathryn Ackerberg from Essex, Iowa pulled out onto Highway 9 from Park Street into the path of a truck driven by33-year-old Kevin Donlan of Decorah.

Neither driver was injured. The accident caused $4,000 in damages. No tickets were issued.
