UPDATE: River levels are beginning to fall

Emergency government officials are breathing a sigh of relief.  Winneshiek County managed to escape severe flooding, despite receiving 4-6 inches of rain over the weekend.  Still, there was a lot of water in a lot of places.

And emergency government officials are nervously watching the skies, hoping the area doesn't receive more rain.
