Luther College awards special scholarship

Luther College sophomore Evan Obert from Genoa, Wisconsin, has been awarded the Karen Julesberg Scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.

The $1,000 scholarship was created by Karen Julesberg of Madison, Wisconsin, a 1960 graduate of Luther. The scholarship benefits Luther students involved in Student Support Services, a federal TRIO program sponsored by Luther for more than 40 years.

Obert is a philosophy major and a member of the Norse wrestling team at Luther College. Obert plans to attend law school following his graduation from Luther College in 2015.
