This is National Nurses Week

This is "National Nurses Week."  The week long celebration is held to educate the public about the role nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.

A total of 149 employees at Winneshiek Medical Center--36 percent of the staff--are nurses.  Nurses are present in Winneshiek Medical Center Clinic, Obstetrics, Med-Surg, Surgery, Same Day Services, Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Cardiac Rehab, Diabetes Education, Quality Management, Staff Education, Infection Control, Home Health, Hospice and Administration.
