Charges pending against Decorah man after car accident on Ravine Street

Decorah Police say charges are pending against 24-year-old Jared Dansdill of Decorah following an early morning accident on Ravine Street Sunday.

Police attempted to stop Dansdill for traveling at a high rate of speed on Ravine Street without his headlights on.  Dansdill failed to negotiate a turn onto Ravine Street and his car entered the yard of a home in the 800 block of Ravine Street.  Dansdill then left the scene of the accident on foot.

Police say their investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
