


Friday morning's snowstorm wasn't the severe storm that some had been warning about, but it did deposit a blanket of white on the ground.
The National Weather Service says Decorah recorded six inches of snow from Thursday night through midday Friday. Bluffton, Ossian and Spillville each had over five inches of snow.
The highest accumulation of snow in Northeast Iowa was in Mitchell County, where seven-and-a-half inches of snow fell on Otranto.
