Trout Run Trail Bridge wins engineering award

The Trout Run Trail Bridge over Highway 9 has won an engineering award from the American Council of Engineering Companies.
City of Decorah officials say WHKS Engineering of Mason City and Erdman Engineering of Decorah have received the Second Place Honor Award in the Transportation Category of the 2013 American Council of Engineering Companies of Iowa Excellence Awards Competition.
Further details will be released in May, after the ACEC of Iowa officially presents the award.
