Two criminal trials scheduled for later this month in Decorah have been postponed until March.
The trial of 23-year-old Daniel Wildman of Cresco, who faces five criminal charges, including three counts of attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Calmar, has now been delayed until March 20th. A pretrial hearing has been postponed until March 5th.
Meanwhile, trial has also been set for March 20th for 53-year-old James Bachmurski of Decorah, who faces one Class D felony charge of child endangerment for allegedly kicking one of his sons, as well as one charge of first degree harassment for other incidents involving his sons. The alleged incidents happened in February of 2012, but Bachmurski has waived his right to a speedy trial.
