"Dig Into Reading!" summer t-shirt designs sought by Library

The Decorah Public Library is asking area children to help get ready for this year's summer reading program by participating in the design of the official summer T-shirt.

"Dig Into Reading!" is the children's summer reading program theme for this year. The program starts June 10th and runs for five consecutive weeks ending July 11th.

Children aged 3-10 years are invited to participate in a T-shirt design event to celebrate their creativity. The design does not need to include the theme logo, "Dig Into Reading." Designs can include up to three colors on a white 8 ½ by 11" piece of paper submitted to the library by Monday, March 4th. The child's name and phone number should appear on the back of the paper. One shirt design will be chosen among the submitted creations to be the official summer reading program T-shirt for 2013.
