Decorah High School's efforts to protect local bald eagles draw coverage from KWWL-TV

Students in John Condon's industrial technology class at Decorah High School have begun constructing 20 bald eagle perches for Alliant Energy to install on power poles to prevent future bald eagle electrocutions.

The students received funds and materials for their project from Raptor Nation and Decorah Building Supply.  The perches will be installed by Alliant crews early next year.
