A car collided with a Decorah school bus Thursday afternoon, police say, but neither driver was injured and the bus had not yet picked up any students.
Police say 58-year-old Dale Bodensteiner of Decorah pulled out from the stop sign on Railroad Street, into the path of the school bus on Washington Street. The bus was driven by 65-year-old Orabelle Ehrie of Decorah.
The accident caused $1,000 in damages to Bodensteiner's car and no damage to the bus. Bodensteiner was not ticketed.
