


--All three candidates for Winneshiek Soil and Water Conservation Commission--John Lubke, Danny Leidahl and Wilbur Stoen--were elected to the commission Tuesday night.
--Jessica Rediske, Gary Lien, Edward Albertson and Kevin Lansing all were elected to the Winneshiek County Agricultural Extension Council.
--Iowa Supreme Court justice David Wiggins received 57 percent approval from Winneshiek County voters for retention. All other judges received at least two-thirds approval.
--City of Ossian voters approved a $700,000 bond referendum by a margin of 286 to 131--a 67 percent approval.
--It's not a sought-after job to be a Township Trustee. In nine townships there were no candidates on the ballot and write-in votes determined the trustee. Orleans Township residents cast only 12 write in votes in one trustee race and nine write-in votes in another trustee race.
