Cresco teenager injured in accident on Madison Road

16-year-old Caleb Ruppert of Cresco was injured in a one-car rollover accident on Madison Road near Highway 9 on Friday evening.

Sheriff's deputies say Ruppert's vehicle began sliding on the gravel.  He overcorrected and lost control.  The vehicle flipped onto its top.

The vehicle was a total loss.  Ruppert had minor injuries and was taken home by his parents.
