First Lutheran Church of Ossian closes after 162 years

The First Lutheran Church of Ossian is closing its doors after 162 years of worship.  The church is the oldest Norwegian Lutheran church west of the Mississippi River.

A closing service was held Sunday morning at the church with Pastor Ginny Olson, the current minister at the church, officiating.
