2002 Luther College graduate Johanna Olson finished last weekend's Twin Cities Marathon in a time of just over 5 hours. That wasn't good enough to put her among the top finishers.
But considering she ran and walked, it's a good time. And considering she's recovering from a recurring brain tumor, it's simply amazing.
Olson ran the race less than 13 months after her third brain surgery. She had a number of relatives and friends running the race with her.
Olson's story was profiled by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. You can read their story here.
