Two-car accident on Highway 9 causes $3,000 in damages

Decorah Police were called to Highway 9 Saturday night for a report of a traffic accident.

Police say17-year-old Zachary Hanley of Cresco was traveling east on Highway 9 just before Montgomery Street when his car's front driver's side tire came off the rim.  Hanley collided with a car driven by 22-year-old Alexander Cheatham of Iowa Falls, Iowa.  Neither driver was injured.  Hanley was not ticketed.
