


The Winneshiek County 4-H program is celebrating National 4-H Week this week.
Winneshiek County 4-Hers kicked-off National 4-H Week on Sunday by hosting the annual 4-H Spaghetti Supper and Silent Auction. On Wednesday 4-Hers will demonstrate their 4-H pride by wearing the color green and/or 4-H apparel.
Winneshiek County 4-H has 16 4-H Clubs along with additional project groups such as 4-H Citizenship Group, 4-H Dairy Club, 4-H Dog Project, 4-H Horse Project, 4-H Junior Leadership Council, 4-H Safety and Education in Shooting Sports Group, and the 4-H Senior Council. The Winneshiek County 4-H Program is open to any K – 12th graders. Youth in grades K-3rd are encouraged to be part of the 4-H Program by joining as clover kid members while 4th – 12th graders are eligible to be 4-H members. This last year the Winneshiek County 4-H program had 314 4-Hers.
