


No charges were filed in a two-car accident on Highway 9 at 9:30 Wednesday morning.
Police say 37-year-old Kris Thuente of Decorah had stopped while waiting to turn left from HIghway 9 onto Short Street when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Taylor Berry of Monona approached from behind. Berry's foot slipped off the brake pedal and her car crashed into Thuente's, causing a total of $4,000 in damages. Neither driver was injured.
