


Two more people have filed nomination papers for the Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Steve Hildebrand of rural Decorah and former hospital board member David Kratz have filed papers, bringing to four the number of candidates for the two spots on the hospital board.
Other candidates may file nomination papers by the deadline of 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Candidates for the hospital board must get the signatures of 50 Winneshiek County residents on their nomination papers.
There are two spots on the hospital board that are up for election. Incumbent Arlene Houlihan says she will not seek re-election. Incumbent David Gehling has not announced whether he will seek re-election, but he is expected to run.
