Upper Explorerland names new Executive Director

Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission has named Rachelle Howe as its Executive Director, effective August 1st.

Howe was the Executive Director of Allamakee County Economic Development for 14 years before accepting a position at UERPC.  She began as a Team Leader in Economic Development at Upper Explorerland.  She quickly became a Department Head after being with UERPC for two years.  She now will assume the top position at the agency, which serves the five Northeast Iowa counties of Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek.
