


Decorah Middle School student Brenna Betts has received a free Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet as a semi-finalist in the "America the Beautiful Contest" sponsored by Rand McNally and USA Today.
Brenna wrote a 500-word essay about Decorah's Anderson Prairie. The essay was selected as one of 50 semi-finalists in the 7-9th grade division.
