Decorah teenager ticketed following traffic accident

Decorah Police have issued a traffic citation to 17-year-old Jared Bidne of Decorah following a traffic accident on Water Street.

Police say a vehicle driven by Fajardo De Rosa of Decorah had stopped on Water Street to allow a vehicle ahead to parallel park when Bidne ran into the rear of De Rosa's car.  Bidne was ticketed for Failure to Stop within a Clear Distance.  The accident caused $4,500 in damages.
