Decorah Tree Board members and Winneshiek Energy District Americorp workers joined forces Saturday to plant 25 trees.
The trees were purchased for planting with funds from Trees Forever, a non-profit organization from Marion, Iowa.
A few of the trees are still available for planting and can be obtained for $10 each by calling Decorah Tree Board President Heidi Cook at (563) 419-1805. Additional trees are available through the Tree Board Boulevard Voucher project. Vouchers can be obtained at Ladybug Landscaping and Henzler's Garden Center or online at www.decorahia.org.
