Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation is hosting an "On-Line Baby Shower"

The Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation is hosting an online baby shower in support of the hospital's "OB Refresh Project." 

The hospital foundation is raising $200,000 to pay for upgrading facilities for Winneshiek Medical Center's newborns and their families.  The renovation will provide a more comfortable experience for families.  It also will include a new security system for babies and mothers called "HUGS and KISSES."

The hospital foundation has listed individual pieces needed for the project on a secure auction website, www.biddingforgood.com.  Interested donors may browse through the items and "buy" one or more for the OB Department.  A donor can choose to pay for the entire price or a portion of the value. 

The virtual baby shower will run through May 19th.  Donors to the virtual baby shower will be acknowledged through the Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation's donor recognition program.
