"Project Care," a program to support Decorah area young people in foster
care who are "graduating" from the system, will be getting a check for
around $1,100. Decorah residents Bob and Sharon Lillie agree to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from a recent garage sale to Project Care--and their garage sale was a big success.
The donation to Project Care will help provide furnishings to former foster
care kids as they move into the next phase of living independently.
