Postville man injured, ticketed in traffic accident

A Postville man could face drunk driving charges following a traffic accident Thursday night on Highway 9 just east of Centennial Road.

Police say 25-year-old Anthony Ledesman lost control of his car around 8:15 p.m.  It crossed the center line and went into the north ditch, hitting a cement culvert.  Both air bags were deployed in the car.  Ledesma suffered injuries and was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center.

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies say charges of Operating While Intoxicated are pending the results from the Department of Criminal Investigation.
