A Decorah school bus driven by 46-year-old Brian Bullerman collided with a car driven by 30-year-old William Hruska of Lawler at 3:19 Tuesday afternoon.

The Iowa State Patrol says Hruska was northbound on Highway 52 and slowed to turn left onto Madison Road.  Bullerman failed to stop in time and struck Hruska's car in the rear, making it spin into a ditch.

Hruska and Bullerman were injured in the accident.  20 students were onboard the school bus when the accident occurred. Seven of those students were taken home by parents from the accident site, three students were taken to the hospital by ambulance for precautionary measures, the remaining ten students were transported to the hospital by school transportation. All thirteen students, along with the drivers of both vehicles, were treated and released from Winneshiek Medical Center.
