The Executive Director of the Northeast Iowa Peace & Justice Center, Mike Blevins, has resigned.
Blevins had been volunteering his time as Executive Director of the NEIPJC at 119 Winnebago Street in Decorah, but sent the NEIPJC Board a letter saying he could no longer afford to do so.
A public meeting has been scheduled for 7:00 p.m. next Tuesday, April 10th, at the center to determine the future management of the Center.
NE Iowa Peace and Justice Center officials say the group is in the process of determining if the Center can afford to continue to function in its present form. The public meeting is intended as a way to gather important feedback, to explain a plan for interim team administrative management, and a preliminary financial plan.
