It took 24 hours, but students in the American Novel class at Luther College were able to complete a marathon reading of Herman Melville's "Moby Dick" over the weekend.
English professor Erik Grayson organized the reading, which relied on over 40 students, 10 faculty members and a number of community volunteers. Grayson says the reading in the Concourse of Valders Hall of Science managed to attract a crowd--even at 3:00 in the morning on Saturday!
