Road embargoes go into effect

The Winneshiek County Engineer's Office is putting weight restrictions into effect on county roads starting Friday.

County Engineer Lee Bjerke says paved roads are showing signs of stress from the spring thaw.  Therefore embargos are going up on Friday limiting vehicle weights to no more than seven tons per axle.
