Scammers are at it again.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says it has received a report of someone trying to infect computers with a virus. The scammer sent out an e-mail from "The Council of Better Business Bureaus." The e-mail informs the person they have received a complaint about them. When someone opens the complain report, it sets off the virus.
The Sheriff's Department says if you receive an e-mail from alerts@bbb.org, DO NOT OPEN IT!
